Great expectations crushed. Went for lunch. I had the chicken strips quite a while ago and they were good. Not so on Oct 30! The chicken strips were tough and overcooked, the roll was straight out of a bag, the special mac and cheese was a white and sponge like mass, the corn was cold. For the meal they had the nerve to charge 10.99 rediculous. I will never go there again.
Meet You at Perkins Family Restaurant. This is one of our favorite places, especially after church on Sunday morning. The wait staff is excellent and the menu has some new ideas every few months or so. The latest is some terrific salads, which go well with the chicken noodle and other soups. The last three times I’ve been there I had to have the shrimp and spinach salad with bacon and a warm bacon sauce on the side. That is the best. Tangler onions are excellent as well. Drinks are refillable. They have a senior as well as a kids menu. A number of good breakfasts available all day.
