The Special. Went there to try the special, the vertical taco, found out the only thing special about it was the price. I think it was the highest priced sandwich on the menu at $9.00. When I expressed my surprise to the staff person, she seemed surprised that I would expect the special to be a lower and not a higher price. Hmmm. I must be shopping in the wrong store I guess. I think I ended up paying 7.75 for a slammin Saddam sandwich with very little meat and at least half shredded iceberg lettuce. Could have at least been better salad greens for the price. Maybe I’m just not ordering the right thing. The thing I like best about this place is their display of artwork. Sorry staggering ox.
The portions are TINY! I read other reviews saying there sandwiches were small, but I figured hey I’ll give it a try. I was astonished how light the bag was when I picked up my food. I felt like I had ordered off the kids menu. The sandwich was actually pretty good, but it’s a shame you don’t get your money’s worth otherwise I would be a regular at this place.
