Bad place. Services wasn’t bad but got charged for two drinks more then what we had. When we asked why we were charged so much the waitress said it was because we requested it on ice. Double the price for two drinks , never again will we go there.

Service is nice to look at as well.24 Jun, 2012Good Stuff. This place is the Heights Biggest secret. The Food is a step above what you would expect from a local bar. I was there on the first Wednesday of the month and they had a Homemade Lasagna special that was to die for. I guess they run it the first Wednesday of every month. I will be there. The pizza Bullets are a have to try as well. The Jalepeno Bottlecaps were just so so but the desserts made up for that. Homemade peach cobbler!!!!!! wow. You have to check this place out.
Monte cristo. Very good new menu item. New menu came out this month. Its got a few new items. Pastas for dinner now too. Come check them out. We did keep most of the favorites.Come down and try our five star general challenge.
Service leaves something to be desired. I’ll start off by first saying that I do like the atmosphere and the food. However, except for my first visit, it has never been terribly crowded when I have come in for a burger. As mentioned by a previous post, the service is not attentive. I have been there by myself and with groups of people. Also, I am not over demanding at any restaurant. On one occasion I went there with family and the waitress only came back one time… to bring the bill. On another instance, the printer wasn’t working so our order never got transmitted to the kitchen. You think the waiter would have checked it out before me asking about it 20 minutes later. Today I even checked the sign at the door which said seat yourself. The waitress came up to me, very friendly, brought me 2 menus (I was by myself) and took my drink order. While I waited, I texted a friend and it was the time of this text that I used to determine how long I waited before I finally got up and walked to the bar and paid for my soda. It was 22 minutes. I would have gotten up earlier, but I was reading the news online and had lost track of time.To summarize, maybe this place needs to hire more mature wait staff.
Nothing Special. Ordered the Buffalo Wrap lunch special. It was ok, but nothing special. Service was good.
Was looking forward to the VIG. I was so disappointed in the VIG. I was there for the first time last night and probably the last. I called to make a reservation because I was told that always busy. When my party arrived the people who were working did not know about the reservation, the guy I talked to came by when the bartender and waiter were talking about this reservation that they did not know about and said we could sit anywhere, to me that is not a reservation. I ordered the fish and chips basket, when my meal came I looked at it and thought REALLY the portion of fish was so small it looked like a child’s portion. I left there still hungry. I had ordered ranch dressing to go with my sweet potatoes tots and did not receive that, instead I received barbeque sauce. The price and portion size did not match up. One of the others in my party ordered a hamburger medium rare, she asked before the ordered it if they would cook it medium rare. She was told yes. When she got her meal the hamburger was medium well, no hint of pink anywhere. The service was poor, after we got our meal we were not checked back on, I would have asked for my ranch dressing at the time, our drinks were not refreshed, I as well as the rest of my party sat with an empty glass of iced tea for the majority of my meal. So needless to say I will not be going back to the VIG anytime soon.
