Was with a party of five and had a forty minute wait – for a Friday night, without reservations, I was willing to wait….especially since I didnt see much more in town besides basic college fare. Menu looked good with lots of beef choices, in starters and mains, which is what I wanted while in this part of the country. We had the burnt ends to begin, and they were a hit at the table with everyone else….I like my burnt ends a little crispier. Covered in sauce, I wondered what they had to hide. The special of a ten ounce prime rib was where I landed , mostly because the smallest ribeye was 16 ounces and I didnt want to explode. The prime rib was just OK, looking like any other food service delivery meat…. and it tasted like it too. Not bad, just not great….this IS beef country, right? One in our party had the brisket sammich… I wish I had had it too, since the bite I got was dee-licious. But I didnt want a sandwich at at the only real sit down joint I saw in the whole town…. but NOW they tell me. Anyway, not to go on and on, as this place was fairly unremarkable…. right down the middle. The frat boy/sorority girl crowd seemed pleased with what they had, so you might be just as pleased-all I was jumping for joy over was they offered Kaliber beer! Yay! 160.00 for five with six drinks among us…all in was not too bad…,. But as I say, they only crept into three territory as far as I go…

Amazing food! Easily the best burger in town. Service on the other hand was absurdly terrible. Been here a few times previously with great experiences but this time we had at least a 15 minute wait before finally going up to the bar to order as the server hadn’t picked up on us joining into a friends table after repeated attempts to get their attention. We had to ask other server or the bar for almost everything. Finally after much confusion our server brought, us of course, messed up tickets and actually only on the things she personally took our order on. By no means a person I complain but seriously thy was terrible.
One of the Best. I’ve eaten at copper twice and the food is excellent. Deviled eggs with caviar, lobster, chorizo were fun. Lobster sliders were some of the best I’ve ever had. Delicious lobster salad and decadent buttered and seared brioche buns. My husband had prime rib and was thrilled with it. The onion rings are gigantic, hand breaded and over the top greasy goodness. We also tried a pasta special that was loaded with fresh clams. Their cocktails can’t be beat. The largest selection of whiskey I’ve ever seen. The cocktails are strong and well done. Creme brle had good flavor – was a bit over baked. Great atmosphere, fabulous service; it’s a must go.
Nice place for dinner and a drink.. Good makeover of an old Bozeman location. Food was good. Excellent beet salad with goats cheese. Chicken sandwich was great, liked the mustard sauce, definitely something different. Smokey brisket sandwich was good, liked the slaw on top. French fries were a well seasoned style and the pasta salad was good with fresh veggies chopped up in it. Overall a good dining experience. We will be back.
One of the newest restaurant/bars in town….the Copper is a breath of fresh air in a town with some tired places. 100+ whiskeys. A great staff. Burgers and steaks that won’t disappoint. Time to walk downstairs and enjoy.
