OK pizza but not the best in Bozeman. MacKenzie has good pizza, but it’s not the best in Bozeman. Friends like it a lot, but I prefer other pizza places. The pizza seems to be heavier after dining. Don’t stay away, but branch out.
Gluten free pizza & chicken chili! Thank you very much. Good food.
Excellent food and service. Very friendly staff, wonderful salad and pizza!Salad was hand made, fresh and LARGE. More than enough for two – we ended up taking photos, it looked almost too good to eat. The pizza was great, thin crust and lots of topping.I would highly recommend this restaurant. Wish we had one at home!!
Borderline-corporate, and yet I approve. MacRiver’s saving grace is their attention to service. I’ve never had a bad meal there – far from it – but I am never blown away. However, what DOES always impress is the consistency of the food, as well as the complete and total knowledge of the menu that their entire staff has – like knowing that their soy cheese isn’t actually vegan. (not gonna pass judgement on that here, just glad that the waitress pointed this out immediately.)Overall, I think of them as the Zappo’s of food: Service, service, service, service, accompanied by a decent meal.
If you like real east coast style pizza, avoid this place. If you like whole wheat hippy bread you’ll love it.
Not for stick-in-the-muds. If you like pizza from Pizza Hut, Domino’s, or Little Caesar, keep going there. But if you like fresh, original flavors in new combinations on delicious crusts, MacKenzie is the place. Terrific, full of flavor, wonderful fresh toppings. Worth the price.
McKrappy River. Unoriginal and expensive. Like the Olive Garden of pizza.
