First, the food isn’t bad. I’m curious what my sandwich was (is wasn’t what I ordered) and they played Lou Reed, David Bowie and The Cure, which is good. It took 30 minutes to get two deli sandwiches – and we were the only folks in there. Also, they left the doors open on a very cold rainy day – a few folks walked in but chose to leave after seeing how cold it was. But the kicker was the fact the place is just not very clean. It’s in a very new building but the tables and chairs are falling apart, there is built up grease and scuffs on the low walls and floor and the staff seems pretty indifferent to cleaning up after customers. With a bit of care, some effort and a motivated staff, the place could be way better.
AMAZING avocado sour cream. Whenever I go, I always get the chicken quesadilla. I love the avocado sour cream and salsa that are served with it. (And I’m usually someone who hates avocado!) The quesadillas themselves are a bit large, but that’s not a problem for me! It’s great for a filling meal or take the remainders as leftovers! My only gripe is that the food is a little pricey, but not bad considering the quality!
