Read a lot of good reviews but was not impressed. Chicken was over cooked and didn’t have any flavor. It was just simple fried chicken. Waited 16 minutes. Maybe try one of their sandwiches or chicken strips.
This has become one of our family favorites! Outdoor seating is wonderful!
Great food, great restaurant, great prices. I came here with my husband, three kids, and my dog. We spent $42 including tip. We were able to sit outside with my dog. The food was fresh and delicious. We had fried chicken, cheese grits, macaroni and cheese, and coleslaw. Everything was house made. Drinks were also included.
OK…. Ordered special the other day, spicy two piece, choice of white or dark meat and a side. Flavor, juiciness, and spice level was excellent. Presentation was a little off because of the dark brown, almost burnt looking breading. Was a little greasy, maybe let it drain a bit more prior to serving, and/or adjust the frying temperature a little. Mac & Cheese was very average. However, I would definitely try again. One of a very few places in MT/WY to get REAL fried chicken!!!
Amazing fried chicken, and very affordable! Unique fun environment in summer with the outdoor seating. Would love to go back if we ‘re in Bozeman again.
Yummy Sandwich. I have eaten at Roost twice now and like it. The Alabama Chicken Sandwich (with gluten free bun) hit the spot! I have also had their Spun Chicken with cole slaw, mashed potatoes and chips and it is delish. Eaten there twice, no gluten poisoning! I would recommend.
Overpriced and very slow . Waited over 25 min for a grilled cheese .. and the cost was all most 10 bucks with a extra side… will not be going back
