Secret spot- my favorite breakfast place in Bozeman. The Stockyard focuses on basic breakfasts- you pour yourself your water, set your own table (they give you the utensils but leave it up to you to sort everything else out), but get a plate of hot, amazing breakfast food quickly. The building looks ramshackle but has a charm to it, and the staff are continuously busy but really wonderful. The peach crisp special is truly marvelous- the crisp is crunchy and flavorful, the peaches are delicious! It’s a little secret spot tucked away off Main and has become my number one breakfast spot. I’ve never had a lackluster meal there, ever!

Better yet: DONT find it.. They could have the best food in the world (which they sure as heck do NOT), but the attitude you find at this restaurant destroys it for me. It’s all summed up in the manifesto you can find on the dirty, coffee-stained counter. If you’re still not sure where they’re coming from, just try and catch the place when it’s open – I dare you.I can’t trash this place enough. You should give your money to a restaurant that actually wants you as a customer, instead of this …. this…. place. I wouldn’t even call it a business, it’s more like an arrogant chef’s weekend hobby.
The absolute best breakfast experiance. Save your fork!
