Tried Watanabe while in Bozeman. The spicy Tuna roll, spider roll, and shrimp rolls we all very good. Pleasant and unpretentious atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Wonderful food, but one member of the waitstaff needs to relearn good customer service skills. On two separate visits about a month apart I have received surly, impatient service. On both occasions she has tried to hurry the end of my meal. She quickly places the check on the table without inquiring about the meal or whether I’m actually finished. In point of fact I was not and had to catch her attention to request additional service. Beverage refills were slow and begrudging. Be warned, she also plays favorites and will ignore you in favor of larger parties.
Consistently Exceptional!. I have been eating at Watanabe for about two and a half years, and I can honestly say that I have never had a single bad experience there. Their appetizers of Soft Shell Crab or Shrimp Tempura are simply fantastic. My personal favorite menu item is their Shrimp Yaki-Soba, which is truly divine. The service is always spot on as well. If you haven’t tried this place yet, stop hesitating!
Wonderful Food and Service. The service there is always wonderful. No matter what I try it is tasty. Is the real deal with the owner from Japan.
Kumamoto food. I dine here every chance I get, because I really like everything on the menu, and the service is excellent, too.
Was really happy I went here. They have real ramen with wheat noodles and an egg in the bowl. Tempora was awsome and worth the trip by itself.
