Where’s my pizza?. I called Howard’s Pizza and ordered a thin crust, cheese pizza. The price was kind of steep for a small pizza, but I was assured by many locals that it was the best pizza in town. When the deliver guy got to my place, he was carrying a paper bag. My first thought was that they had screwed up my order. He handed me the bag, and it felt empty. Like there was nothing in it. Through the warm bag I could feel cardboard, so I figured that the pizza must be in there, too. When I opened the bag, my very first act was to run to the door and call the delivery guy back, but he had already gone. The pizza was a joke. The crust looked like one of those fried breads you can get at the Farmer’s Market in town, but it was so thin and so … crispy? … overcooked? …. flaky?… it had the texture and taste of an unsalted saltine cracker or a matzo bread. The sauce was very acidic, like raw crushed tomatoes with a bit of oregano, and on my 12 inch pizza, it didn’t come within 3 inches of the edge of the crust. Don’t get me wrong – I like crust. But 3 inches of crust on a slice of pizza is a bit over the top. The cheese was deli cheese; sliced imitation mozzarella. Not even shredded, but sliced. Let me say it again: sliced cheese. On a pizza. Sliced. Cheese. And the pizza was cut in squares. It was a round pizza, but for some reason, it was cut into square slices. Whatever. Everyone says that Howard’s Pizza is the best pizza in Great Falls. I’m sorry, Great Falls. You’re a fantastic town, and you deserve so much better.

Good Pizza. It may not be Chicago thin crust pizza but close to it. We got the Sausage & Cheese and we enjoyed it very much

Microwave pizza. After deciding to give this place a try i was dissapointed after all the raves it had recieved. As you would expect in such a culinary deficient town as Great Falls, no real pizza oven nor any technique or know how in making pizza. The sauce was sour and acidic, like ketchup. And the crust was bland and doughy. The cheese was questionable as whether it was real mozz and the toppings were anything but fresh. You are better off buying a frozen pizza from a super market and baking it yourself than wasting your time on Howard’s Pizza. Guys, please leave the pizza making to people with culinary abilities.
