Isn’t it great to unexpectedly run into an old friend. That’s how we feltwhen we ate our lunch here. We ate at Luz’s frequently in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Thought she had gone out of business years ago. We saw the Luz’s sign and thought, this can’t be the same Luz. Well…its her daughter running the place at a relatively new location. It’s the same great food; all homemade salsa and sauces, fresh tortilla chips made each morning, and great entrees. Yeah, its not south of the border traditional, but damn good…our favorite inGreat Falls. The comment about bland in a previous review tickled us. That’s what the sauces and salsa are on the tablefor. I much prefersauce optionson tacos or tostadas than have the cook decide for me. The beef enchilada and it’s signature saucewas flavorful, and the beans and rice spot on. $21 dollars for our two meals, including drinks and tip, was more than reasonable.
