I have been going to your restaurant since I was like one week old. My mom went there when she was pregnant with me. Lol. I am a local and have been there 17 years of my life. I no longer live there but now at over 18 years old, I’m still in love with this food and crave it all the time!!!! It’s awesome!!!!!!!!
I come here for lunch once a week, the food is good not great. But for 5.95 I can get a large portion of sweat and sour chicken and stemed rice. The egg rolls are really good however its 3 dollars for two. Overall I would say Alley Connection is great for a quick take out lunch.
Never Disappointed!. Alley Connection is the best asian/chinese food I have ever had! It is by far my favorite restaurant. The wait is never long if at all, the wait staff are always friendly and have never messed up an order, the food always comes quickly and hot, I just wish they wouldn’t close for a whole month! I make sure I get my alley connection fix before they close for the month! You will not be disappointed-try the crab rangoon it is delicious and their sweet and sour sauce is heavenly!
Best wonton soup and cream cheese rangoons ever.
So disappointing…. I’m from out of town, and decided to try this place because of the largely good things said about it. Bad decision. The waitstaff was not overly friendly, or knowledgable for that matter. I ordered the almond chicken and a bbq pork appetizer. The almond chicken was similar to a HEAVY deep fried chicken breast covered in marzipan paste — and I am serious about that. Not the kind of almond flavor I would put in anything that wasn’t dessert. I would have dismissed this as merely a poor concept or difference of opinion had the bbq pork been even decent. But that wasn’t the case either — it was among the worst I’ve had. Bland fried rice with very little in terms of veggies, chicken, pork or ANYTHING. Also a bit pricey when you consider cost/value! I was very disappointed overall.
We often go to the Alley Connection because the service is great, the atmosphere and the food. Last night, the food was very very disappointing. Usually there is more flavor. I don’t know if they got new cooks or they decided to make the food a cheaper quality because of rising prices. They were very stingy on the meat portions. We ordered combination rice which didn’t have as much flavor and there were maybe three very very small pieces of pork. The beef and broccoli was somewhat bland. The most disappointing was the chicken low mein which didn’t have the flavor and had hardly any meat. We will not be going back as it seems the quality we used to enjoy is no longer there.
Consistently great. I’m a fan of the sichuan breaded chicken and vegetable stir fry. Not everyone’s cup o’ tea, but worth checking out. Quick, hot, tasty… Bring your chop stick skills.
