Good, authentic Mexican food in Kalispell!. I was really happy with my first experience here. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! I will definitely be going back.
AMAZING!!!!!!!. I have tried ALL of the Mexican restaurants in the valley and this is by far the best!The staff have been very friendly and attentive and the food is absolute top drawer. I’ve came here many times now and it’s been the same excellent experience each time.
Enjoyable experience!. Colorful and cheerful decor at El Rancho enhances the friendly, excellent service, which enhances the delicious and well presented food. We will return.

Worst Service!!. We had been waiting to try this restaurant and decided that for a friend’s birthday we would all go out to celebrate. We called around 11 am the day of to make reservations of 13. As a server I know large parties are had to handle which is why we made reservation. We arrived at the restaurant on time at 6 pm, were told that they had another large party coming in and the restaurant was packed. We order drinks and waited 15 minutes for them to take our order, waited another 15 minutes for the chips to arrive. Atmosphere is good, server joked a little but seemed irritated at our large group. An hour after we order no one came to check on us, or tell us that our food was coming, We all decided to leave without receiving our food. We stopped the server and let him know we were going. He said okay I will stop your order, no hold on let me check on your food or I am so sorry let see what I can do for you. We understood we had 11 people and we’re a large group, but the service sucked, we had a reservation, He didn’t even seem to care we were leaving. We went to another restaurant that was equally as busy, called ahead to let them know we were coming in case they couldn’t accommodate us. We left El Rancho at 7:15 were at the other resturant by 7:30 had our food by 8. and were having plates removed by 8:20. As a server I was disappointed with El Rancho and the customer service.
Awful service!!. My family and I were excited to try this new restaurant. We were some of the first people in the restaurant last night and the service was horrible from the beginning. No beer, wine or liquor, which is fine. Drinks took a long time to come and the chips came 15 minutes after that. Food came at a decent pace. But, then 30 minutes went by and no one came to check on us. No drink refills, nothing… We finally all carried our cups to the entrance to wait for refills. Absurd!! The waiters are absolutely clueless. When we finally got our bill…we sat at our table for the waiter to come get it, which obviously didn’t happen. We then stood at the front cash register waiting to pay, again still no waiters in sight. We finally put cash with our bill and left. We will not be back. So disappointing for a new restaurant.
Worst food in Kalispell!!!. Took my wife there for dinner. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food. When it came I was astonished at the poor quality of the food. I had Chile Colorado. There were potatoes in the sauce, something that is never in Chile Colorado in any Mexican restaurant that we have ever eaten at. The refried beans were runny like soup. The prices are not consistent with the quality of the food. Will never ever go there again!!!
