The food probably would’ve been good, had it not been over an hour from the time we ordered until we got it. It was cold. I had to ask for bread and water from another passing server when all the tables around us had it and my kids are starving at this point. The server never took a drink order for us. After the food was ordered, I tried to order drinks for us, but the server left. After we got our order, she never came back to check on us, so we were stuck with cold food. We were in at 6pm and we left at 930pm. Basically, the service sucked

I want to start off by saying I’ve eaten here basically everytime I’ve come to Kalispell, it was our go to nice restaurant. That’s usually 3 -4 times a year. Last night 27/10/18 however is going to be last for a while. This was our Frist trip to the new location just 2 blocks down.We were seated quickly by the always friendly owner and then attended to by a nice waitress. We started with the bruschetta and the house bread and oil/balsamic dip. The bruschetta was 1/4 scoop on each slice basically, three quarters of the slice of bread was empty with some oil brushed one.We had ordered the following for the table, 1 cheese and ham pizza for the kids, fettuccine with grilled chicken, Spaghetti Bolognese and the special (forget the name, but alot of mixed seafood topped and cooked with thier pizza dough that puffs up).So the pizza was quite oily due to the cheese, and it was okay, not what thier typical pizzas usually are.The chicken fettuccine we sent back, the chicken tasted a bit odd, now the lead for waitresses said the chicken was cooked that morning, I can’t say it was or wasn’t. However it was rubbery, flat and had a non-chicken flavor to it. Combined with an overly thick sauce for some reason it was really bad.Next the spaghetti Bolognese, not sure what happened but there was near double the amount of sauce which made it quite unappealing to finish.Next the special, forgive me for forgetting the name, typically this menu item was for the regulars or those witnessing the dish being brought out and inquiring, like a little secret menu item. It has cuttlefish, 2 very large scallops, clams, muscles and oysters in a tomato broth. Well the only really good part was the large scallops, the rest were filler of cuttlefish basically. Having it before this one was disappointing. Not sure what went on, it wasn’t super busy when we arrived, not sure if there was new kitchen staff or what, but the overall experience this time was enough to take a long break before coming back. Maybe they’ll get back on track but it definitely wasn’t the Scottibelli’s anyone was used or accustomed too.
