SO Good!!!. If you are wanting a meal that you will remember, make sure that you come to Cafe Kandahar. It’s food can compete with any high end restaurant in any big city. The cool thing is that the atmosphere is not pretentious at all. You could feel as comfortable walking in with jeans as with a suit and a tie. Much of the food is locally sourced and masterfully prepared. I had the Degustation menu which is an 11 course tasting menu prepared by the chef and changes frequently. They also have a 7 course tasting menu and if you are not up for that, they have single meals as well. Honestly I have not had a better meal anywhere. If you are looking for a romantic evening on a weekend getaway or you are just looking to treat yourself to a great meal, eat here. It’s not cheap, but the food is so good that once a year or two this place would be worth the splurge.
