Seems like I have been wanting to try Adana’s forever. I stopped in to get some take out, and was greeted as soon as I steeped in the door. The place is pretty small, and very clean. They have a huge very easy to read menu on the wall, and then small pictures of other rotating items with prices taped up all around the ordering area. I went with the mixed grill, I wanted to try a little of everything. It came with a big portion of rice, some gyro meat, 2 small steak kabobs, a very small chicken kabob, and what I think was ground seasoned lamb on a stick, and a long pita type bread. The chicken was literally 3 small 1/2 bites it tasted just ok. The steak was really good, seasoned well and very tender. The lamb kabob tasted a lot like good chorizo to me. And the gyro meat had great flavor, not too overpowering. The rice was very mildly flavored with pine nuts and chickpeas throughout. I was really satisfied with my meal, it was enough food for 2 people for sure. I also had 2 pieces of baklava, and I wish I would have gotten 10. It was soooooo good! Adana’s is in the rotation for sure!

I’ve had Turkish kebabs overseas and these have been the best I’ve had since coming back to Nebraska. I especially enjoyed the chicken kebabs with garlic sauce and the rice is the perfect side. I would rather not eat off of disposable dinnerware, but I guess I can’t have everything! The prices were very reasonable and the portions were more than satisfying.

I stopped in here for lunch on a Tuesday in October. I got here just a little after 11AM and beat most of the crowd. We were able to order, quickly receive our food, and find a place to sit without any trouble. It got crowded fast and seems to be very popular with the military crowd (but then, that’s pretty typical of all ethnic restaurants in Bellevue). They serve Turkish cuisine and specialize in the world of kebabs. You can almost think of it as Turkish street food. It is not a full service Turkish restaurant where you’re going to sit down, get a large menu with a huge variety of Turkish cuisine and whatnot. Think of a typical fast food Gyros place and give it a Turkish spin and that’s what this place is. Their meat is halal.I ordered the Doner Kebab. I remember ordering these from Turkish immigrant street vendors in Germany back in the 90s and loving them. It’s basically a Turkish gyros (hopefully that’s not offensive to the owners on Adana’s). Adana’s was very good, well-portioned, and very tasty. My brother tried their Adana’s Mixed Grill and loved it. Doner Kebab is $6.99 alone or $7.99 in a combo.Baklava was very tasty and they serve up a pretty large piece of it. They have a kids combos (Chicken, Beef, or Doner Kebab with pita, salad, rice, and juice) for $5.99.They also serve smoothies, but I did not partake in that side of their business.Staff were all extremely friendly and restaurant was very clean.Prices are a little higher than what it seems many people are expecting. For some reason, people seem to think that all entres at fast food ethnic restaurants should cost $5. That’s unfair and unrealistic. I definitely felt that I received a good value for my money here and I have no problem with their pricing. For those familiar with the area, Adana’s Kebab House is in the Twin Creek area at the northwest quadrant of the Highway 370 and 36th Street intersection. It’s where Blimpie used to be located in the strip mall just east of Baker’s.

This small Kebab outlet located around the corner from the Baker’s supermarket features a delicious array of kebab options, served up with rice or other side dishes. I tried the combo platter, which featured beef, lamb, chicken and sausage with sides of rice, yogurt and a small salad, plus a warm flatbread. The beef kebab was tough and chewy, but everything else was incredibly delicious. It was an enormous portion that would satisfy the largest of appetites. This is a casual eatery. You order at the counter and if your meal isn’t ready by the time you pay down the line they will bring it to your table. Soft drinks are offered from a soda machine.Adana’s seemed popular with military enlistees, as many diners were in uniform. I have found that to be a sign that a restaurant has both authentic ethnic food as well as decent prices.I really enjoyed my lunch, and look forward to returning to sample some of the other menu options.

I highly suggest Adana’s. Even if you don’t like Turkish food, you may be surprised. The classic Adana Kebab is my favorite but I haven’t tried anything that I didn’t like. Delicious food, great service, and a nice change from the other options in Bellevue!

It makes me extremely happy to have such an awesome and unique place to grab some grub so close to where I live in Bellevue. I’ve tried just about everything and I love it all. The tava, all the kabobs, the rice, it’s all sublime. Fills you up and doesn’t weigh you down. Turkish food is legit and they do it right at Adana’s (as far as I can tell, I’ve never been to turkey haha). The owners are great people and the wife is from Turkey so I know the food is genuine Turkish cuisine. No posers here!! Please never close Adana’s!! Oh and hire me? So I can eat there every day! lol
