Looks like Big Brother is trying to trick you to go to the giant franchises. Not fresh? You’ve got to be kidding me — this is as fresh as it gets. Local, like mom makes it. Jim and Mickey might as well be your mom and dad. When the big boys send people to write reviews like that, you know they see American Heroes as a threat. Spend your money wisely, my friends: go to American Heroes.
I stumbled upon this cute place while leaving the base and decided to try it. I got a French dip and potato salad. Their potato salad was pretty tasty but my French dip bread was stale, the toast beef was rubbery (and even metallic looking), and the cheese wasn’t melted. I was super disappointed because I love food and trying new places!
Hidden, but not bad. Cold sammich place to get decent food instead of the mainstream sandwich places. Soups are great for winter, but I wouldn’t recommend the Philly Cheese. You don’t stick roast beef in the microwave with cheese, onions, peppers and mushrooms and call it a Philly Cheese sandwich. The cold sandwiches, however, are pretty good.
