Delicious! Very simple menu. My husband and I both tried the chopped brisket sandwich and it was very good. We also got a smoked sausage that was very good. We also tried the potato salad, Cole slaw, and baked beans. Everything was very very good. We also had a piece of corn bread and it was very very fresh and tasted so good!
Smell that smoke! Swine dining is a nice little place to get your fix on BBQ. I had the smoke sausage and chopped brisket. The sausage was huge. The brisket was alright. For sides i had the coleslaw and potato salad. Both were amazing tasted just like my grandma’s! I will be coming back for sure.
The Simpson’s. I have been eating their BBQ since they were in Napa parking lot with their trailer! Congrats on the restaurant!~ We eat here as much as our waistlines will let us! Best in town! Best Food, People and Atmosphere!!!! Its like eating over at the neighbors house!!! We’re treated like family!!!!!We love it!!!!!
Our grandson favorite BBQ place. My grandson and I visited there after the air show and Hayworth park. We were initially there so I can eat and my grandson wanted a bag of chip. Well, he got his chip along with tasty BBQ sauce to dip with. After that he ate most of my sandwich with BBQ sauce. We visited the place next day with the rest of our family. Everyone like the ribs but brisket was a bit dry and I like the pulled pork sandwich. And my grandson got 16oz container of mild BBQ sauce. The price is a bit high so this place had to be an occasional dinner place for us. Small place with outdoor area with parking in front of the building. To order, everything is to be written down for each person on separate order paper. They provided the small menu along with pencil to write down then give it to the lady at the window. Pay for the food, grab a number on the stick , find table and wait for the food. Privacy is kind of not there because of the small dinning room. Otherwise, we love it!
Good not worth the price. Sandwich was ok. But six bucks for a sandwich with no sides is a little pricey and not really that worth it. I’ve had better for the same price and at least it came with a side.
Nice folks, but all the rib meat was hard, dry and had no taste.. Everyone was nice. I was so hungry and ordered a lot of food. The smoke sausage sandwich had no taste. My family could not eat or enjoy the rib meat sandwich due to meat being dry and hard. The food was cold except for the fries. My whole family said it was the worst meal and we will never be back. Maybe they were too busy. Oh yeah, when I asked a friend, how she like it, she said the chicken is dry. and that was before we went to eat. I wrote this to help, not to be mean. sorry
New owner as of 4/1/2015. Recipes and prices stayed the same. BBQ just as good as before. There was a nice 6 month overlap in owners to insure a smooth transition.I’ve ordered burnt ends, pork ribs, and chicken. The burnt ends are very good. No sauce needed. They are loaded with flavor and actually look and taste like burnt ends (as opposed to some places that just cut their normal brisket into cubes and call it burnt ends). They don’t offer them everyday. Only on Fridays and Saturdays. You had better get here EARLY (before 12:30) if you want any.Ribs are good. Good smokiness and decent bark. Not too chewy and not falling off the bone over-cooked either.Chicken is awesome. Most BBQ places destroy chicken by turning the skin into inedible leather and drying the meat out. The chicken here was flavorful and moist. It is closer to a rotisserie chicken than smoked chicken. If I could order an entire basket of chicken skins from this place then I would be a happy (and heart attack prone) man. The chicken rub has a slightly sweet/tangy/salty thing going on that is just delicious. For sides I ordered the Smoked Beans and Apple Crisp. The beans were good. Not great, but good. They are unique and have bits of apple in them. Definitely worth trying. The Apple Crisp was very good.Their BBQ sauces are good. A little sweeter than most. I didn’t find the hot BBQ sauce to be particular hot, so if I were them I would kick it up a notch.Service was friendly, genuine, and attentive.Hardly anyone every complains about the BBQ here. Most negative reviews are about speed of service or pricing. So, for taste, this place is hard to beat n the Omaha area. The only other BBQ in the Omaha area that compares is Hartland BBQ in the Benson area of Omaha.Restaurant is clean and well maintained.
