Hosted business lunch here and it was bad for my business and for Granite City’s. Came away disappointed. Arrived at noon on a Thursday – restaurant 1/3 full…first bad sign. Waited 15 minutes after initial greeting to get waiter to take order…second bad sign. My BL&T with avocado was not much better than most fast food and worse than some…third bad sign. Unbelievably this restaurant is constructing an entirely new replacement for the current facility right next door. A new building might look better, but good business for these guys looks like better food and better service. They have neither right now.
Overpriced, minimal menu, horrible service.
We stopped after church for lunch and they had a buffet. It was horrible !! The eggs where cold!!! Nothing but carb city!! For $15.00 a plate I sure would think they would offer a lot bigger assortment!! We will not be going back!!
Great specials! Happy hour 4-6 $1 off micro-brews, glasses of wine, and mixed drinks, as well as $6 flatheads. Late night happy hour: same as regular as well as $2 off of appetizers. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays $6 60oz pitchers of micro-brews all day. Half price bottles of wine. Not to mention the weekly specials and every meal and brew is handcrafted!
We love the weekend brunch buffet. It is a bit pricey, but the food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. You get a plate of complimentary cinnamon rolls that are huge. No matter how long we took to eat, we never felt rushed to leave. It is a nice occasional treat.
I had a terrible experience at the Omaha location, but a business lunch brought me to this one. The lunch was okay taste-wise, but a tad pricey for what you get. For pasta I would say, go to OG.
Late Night Bite. We stopped by this restaurant for a quick post-game snack at 11pm. The pizza was thin and crisp, the wings were just spicy enough to satisfy and the spinach artichoke dip was the perfect belnd of cheese and garlic. The service was a little slow, but understandable from large wave of fellow celebratory Husker diners. The bar has a wide selection of beer and spirits. The IPA (India Pale Ale) was very tasty according to my brother-in-law. Many flat screen TVs occupy the sight lines and the volume is low so you can still have a conversation. The full menu is served until 11pm. Until close, the appetizer menu is in full effect.
