It’s great to be able to put together your own combination of low cal meats and veggies. Alittle expensive ($30 for two) but you can have as much as you want and it’s all fresh and tasty. We like it and recommend it!
Expensive. 13.00 plus drinks. Food dryed out while cooking. Will not go back again.
I liked it okay, but couldn’t see myself getting excited to go back time and time again. The experiencenis neat and different. Lots and lots of choices for combinations. The sauce can make or break it and you don’t really know what the sauces taste like until you try them. The meats are frozen which was nice, but I wonder how well done they get cooked before it is ready to give to you. I say give it a try if you want a different dining experience.
I do all the work, they get all the credit. I understand that this is a nice place in terms of a niche restaurant, a concept restaurant, etc. But, in terms of food, I pay for a meal at a restaurant because I want to experience what a chef can do, not what I can toss together. I’m paying a lot of money at Huhot just so that some guys can stir fry the stuff I throw together. Spend your money somewhere else.
Experience = Perfect!. IMO this place is great. The style and array of food they offer is hard to find at one place in Lincoln. As other reviewers have stated, as long as you know what you are doing, the food is wonderful. Many places offer the choice of meats and vegies but the sauces and oils are what make it great. When starting off, start with smaller amounts and few different kinds of sauces/oils incase you dislike your creation. Do not be affraid to put a lot of the sauces you DO like in your mix as it something I notice a lot of new people doing, and then their meal is dry. If you do end up with something you do not like, TRY AGAIN. You WILL find that perfect combo and find yourself returning many more times.
Hot and Fresh. I’ve only been there once, but it’s like a Subway only with Asian cuisine instead – you are in control of your meal. I like the variety of sauces and oil – just be careful not to go overboard.
Not a fan. If their is a place that wastes more food, This is the place. I have been to Mongolian places, but this is just another Chinese place that cooks your food on a flat top grill. Nothing special, Food was OK, As i think i have had better at other places. The meat is frozen briskets that you place in a bowl. Only the vegetables are fresh. Piles them high in bowl and add your oil and sauces. Then watch them throw in on the grill and watch half of it go on the ground or over the sides. If this is your idea of eating good for you. Plus hope you get your own food not somebody else’s. No thanks i can think of better places to eat.
