Excellent Mexican/Tex-Mex, prices are great, service is great, and the food is wonderful. Even my Tex-Mex loving wife from Texas loved the food and said it handily beats out a large number of Tex-Mex places back in DFW.This place is a gem–Lincoln, make sure you go out and frequent this place!
Food is still good, but booths are getting tighter!26 Aug, 2012As always, food is great, but reduction of serving size to apparently keep prices stable is a concern. Good service, good Margaritas, nice redecoration of the interior.
Great Mexican! I’m from Denver with our fair share of authentic Mexican restaurants and this one is great! Except that there enchiladas are really small I’m used to them big!
Good prices, mediocre food. I came here expecting great, authentic Mexican food..and man was I disappointed. The refried beans had a distinct bacon taste to them and the potato enchilada lacked flavor and originality. The rice was straight from a rice-a-roni package and the enchilada sauce from a can. I could have made better food myself.
My favorite place in town. Chips and salsa are to die for along with my personal fav, Cream Cheese Enchiladas!!!
Mexican for White People. La Paz is awesome. Let me start with that. However, if you want super authentic Mexican food, I would suggest another restaurant. La Paz is pretty Americanized, which I don’t mind. The chips and salsa are free, and delicious. The last time my husband and I patronized, the waitress checked my id and immediately wished me a happy birthday. Their jalapeno margaritas are addicting. I have tried the Royal burrito, the Cream Cheese burritos, the black bean soup, and the tamales. Everything I have tried is great. Love this place.
Homemade and Consistent. The food at La Paz is all made from scratch. I’m not sure what Betsey’s beef is all about. I have been eating at La Paz for 20+ years, and it has been consistently delicious throughout. My favorite is the Black Bean Soup, and the Flautas, and the cream cheese chicken enchiladas, and the homemade chips and salsa, and the Margaritas!!!! The atmosphere is comfortable, and the service fast, friendly and accommodating. I don’t go a week without my La Paz fix.
