We love El Toro! Friendly staff, great food, generous portions, priced right, and 100 times better than Issara.
I’ve been to El Toro a few times, and the service stinks. It is slow and only gives the basest of interactions. Our drinks came out wrong and we had no chance to correcf them because the only time our server came back was to give us our food 15 minutes later. They don’t speak good English, and it is hard to understand them. The tacos are very subpar. It’s like they tried to recreate Taco Bell’s meat sauce recipe. To be fair, though, my friends loved their chimichanga and fajitas.
Food is very basic but definitely good. Service is always good.
Great food, clean aprons, calm atmosphere, and free wifi! What more can you ask for? LaPaz, watch out!
LOVE this place. My family regularly visits El Toro. The service and food are always impecable. The waiters come to know you and your orders if you go there enough. The El Toro Margaritas are great, and I frequently get the Two Taco special–both chicken and beef are great. Chimichanga is also a must try.
The food was good and filling, but the atmosphere at Mazatlan was better. The waiter at El Toro was very accommodating! I do recommend the cheese quesadilla.
Great Food. This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Lincoln. They have very good tamales and their cheese enchiladas are like little chunks of heaven. You could probably order anything on the menu and be happy. I would not suggest that you go there with a large crowd on the weekend, they have limited seating. The service was very friendly and inviting.
