Wow. I was looking around for a good place to eat so I decided to try Greta’s Gourmet and I can say I am happy with my decision. I got the Balsamic-Bleu Burger and it was absolutely delicious. It was so juicy and amazing. It actually changed my view on what a good hamburger is. It put any past hamburger I had to shame. I was a little worried that without fries the meal would be incomplete but the salad paired very well with the hamburger. It was a perfect hamburger. The only downside is that now when I eat a hamburger I will be comparing it to this amazing one. Definitely a solid place to get a meal. The price is very good for the quality. I could probably say that is the best hamburger I have ever had.
OMG The burger!. I had recently read that Greta’s Gourmet is a finalist in the 2013 Best Burger Contest from the Nebraska Beef Council. We were visiting friends in Lincoln today, so we decided to try it for ourselves. All 6 of us had burgers and we all thought they were great. I tried the Balsamic Bleu Burger with the Caprese Salad for my side. It tasted different than any burger I have ever had. Bleu cheese crumbles are mixed into the burger and seasoned with steak seasoning. It is then topped with dijon aioli, balsamic reduction, roasted red peppers, and spring greens. It was so tender and delicious. I will dream about this burger for quite sometime. Greta’s is also a gourmet grocery store and it was fun checking out everything they had. I would love to go back with a cooler, so I could make a purchase. I hope to visit again to try something else, but it will be hard to not order another burger.
Yum!. Decided with some co-workers to try Greta’s on a whim and was absolutely pleased with our decision. Had the Thursday special of the smoked chicken and it was awesome. My friend got the smoke turkey sandwich and said nothing but good things. Definitely will go back again and again!
The roast beef is amazing!
