Worst customer service ever by the female owner.. If you want to sit and relax and enjoy your dinner this is NOT the place to go!! The female owner of this Restaraunt literally took our plates while we were still eating. She refused to take our family picture and told us to take it out in the bar area so they could continue to pick up our plates and drinks before we were even done. Our meal was well over $500 and we tipped over 20%. The staff is great. The owner needs a lesson in costumer service. With out customers you won’t have a Restaraunt. I would encourage everyone to go to another Restaraunt. We will not be going to this Restaraunt again. I would encourage everyone to try a different place!!
Not as good as past. Went tonight for our son’s birthday. His friends had never been to Shogun before . The chef we had seemed very inexperienced and was boring. The food was not as good as in the past and wasn’t that hot. If we go back, we will request an experienced entertaining energetic chef. Don’t want to get stuck again for what we paid. Really dissapointed our son’s friends didn’t get to see a great show . We had looked forward to this for a long time.
We knew better. We once again were forced into going to shogun for a friends graduation party. Like usual the food was only okay, and WAY overpriced for what you get. My teenage son was sitting at the end, so unfortunately for him he didn’t get nearly the portion sizes of some of the others at our table, since they feed everyone of the same grill. Also we had a coupon that had no expiration date on it, but they still refused to honor it. That tells you right there that they do not care about customer service. For 5 of us to eat there, with 2 sushi rolls and medium priced dinners, and we all drank water, it cost us $ 155.00 with a small tip. I will stay home next time!
I’ve been to a lot of Japanese grills, and this is by far the worst I’ve been at. The cook wasn’t entertaining at all; they all have standard lines they say, I know, but he didn’t seem to be having fun at all, which made for a lame show. The server wasn’t very nice and didn’t seem to know the menu at all. The food was good, but the combos are a rip-off! The same amount of meat but for much more. Overall, Shogun was NOT worth it.
Expensive show – Good Sushi. I have only been their a few times for the meals and the show. The show is impressive if you’ve never seen it before, but eventually you would rather pay less for the food and skip the show. The entres are pretty expensive. Generally the quality is pretty good but you never know sense the cook is generally more focused on his show. Now the sushi is very good. My girlfriend and I have been to almost every place in town that serves sushi and Shogun is probably top 3. Reasonably priced, quick service, and fresh ingrediants. Would Recomend if you are a sushi fan. (Try Spicy Tuna & Smoked Salmon Rolls)
Expensive for a little show and makebelieve Japanese food. Wife and I will go for the sushi. Don’t order the expensive steak teppanyaki…because they mix everyones meat together.
Be prepared to spend some $$$$$$$$$
