My favorite Indian restaurant. Great food and service. Affordable prices too. I eat here often. Menu has good variety and comfortable atmosphere.
Delicious. The chicken masala is amazing. It is definitely the best I have had in Lincoln. It has a sweet component that others do not and it complements the spices in the chicken very well. It is a bit pricey but you get your moneys worth because you can easily have left overs for the next day. The paneer naan is also very good. I am not a food critic but I feel like the chicken masala at Tandoor has to be some of the tastiest food around. I would definitely suggest this restaurant to people.

Great food…great prices!. Let’s face it…if you are going to eat Indian food in Lincoln Nebraska, you basically have 2 choices: The Oven and Tandoor. I feel the food at Tandoor is equally as good as The Oven, but the prices are much better. I recommend the non-vegetarian Thali. Perfect for 2 people…you get to sample a variety of different indian dishes for under $23. The atmosphere is basic & simple which I don’t mind as long as the food is fresh & the price is affordable, which I feel Tandoor does well. If they had to improve on 1 thing..it might be the atmosphere (which might be why they do a lot of take-out business), but again, a small sacrifice for good food at a good price. I do wish they would replace or repaint the front doors…they look a little dirty, but it doesn’t reflect the cleanliness of the rest of the place.
Best Indian food in Lincoln, hands down. It’s sad that not many people know about this place.
