This place is awesome, don’t let the location or appearance fool you. It is a little place in a strip mall but the food compares to a high end Korean restaurant. My family and I tried a couple of things and shared with each other. We tried the Beef Japchae, Beef Bulgogi, and the Korean Popcorn Chicken. All three were very tasty and authentic. The lady who runs the place is extremely sweet and does all she can to make your visit to her restaurant great experience. We arrived late in the evening about 30 minutes before closing but it did not change the service or quality of the food. Without a doubt we will be back. I think I have found my new go to Korean place.
Exciting new tastes. Very good food, I am quite fond of the sides and forget any silly notion about about kimchi, it isn’t sour kraut, it is sparklingly fresh tasting. I like everything I have tasted on the menu. Happy to add another world option to the Lincoln dining experience.
Pretty Yami…. I had been having a hankering to try a new restaurant, so last Sunday, I found myself seated at a booth at Yami. Chugging Korean beer. It was Sunday Funday. I’m not too much of a snob about ambiance…it wasn’t fancy, but it wasn’t creepy.I ordered the dolsot bibimbap served in a sizzling stone bowl. The vegetables and meat were cooked to perfection. I’m not terribly well-versed in Korean spices, but the chili sauce for the bibimbap wasn’t spicy enough and a little too sweet for me. I put some sriracha in for a little spice and the vinegar added a nice little bite to the bowl. The little side dishes were okay. I enjoyed the greens. The kimchi was good on the rice. My Sunday Funday bud had something different, but alas, the Korean beer killed my recollection on that. I would say it was a little pricey, but I really enjoyed the food and I was happy to find a Korean restaurant in Lincoln.
