Had the hot wings last week that I did not even know they sold and hot damn they were bomb. Not so hot but it was not the sticky hot wing sauce it was cooked in that flavor was yummy. Took order back to the bar and lots of other people who did not know went and orderd them. They thought they may run out never had that many oreder in one night for hot wings
So let’s be real, this is a rib shack that people come to get their liquor. No wine and dine. You come here to be a man and eat like a man. They put it in a brown bag and you leave happy. People are people, this is a north Omaha business that should be busy from sun up to sun down.
Great Ribs. We ate there on Sunday afternoon. A steady flow of people told me we were in the right place. We got the Combo with Medium Sauce. I didn’t care for the Links but the Ribs were awesome. The Medium sauce was good with just a little kick. I’ll try the Hot the next time. I will return.
The beat part is it’s also a head shop. The ribs are the best when on the 420. That being said it is in the hood if your not used to low income areas yes you prob will be scared. That being said stop being a vaaaG and go get prob the best ribs in Omaha
The first thing to know is that Bill’s BBQ is not a typical restaurant. It is a carry out liquor shop, head shop, gas station, and rib shack. That being said, the guy behind the bar-reinforced cashier’s window was very helpful in educating me about the kinds of ribs for sale. As for the ribs themselves, we ordered them dry (sauce on the side) and then ordered all three sauces – mild, medium, and hot. I preferred the hot. Kids preferred them dry. Good bark. Excellent smoke flavor and taste. The ends were a bit jerky like. All in all, worth eating.
