Good food for not a lot of money. There is more room inside than other similar restaurants downtown and parking is a bit easier too. I recommend it!

Worth the walk. Living downtown and working downtown, I tend to spend a lot of time (wait for it) downtown. Bob’s is a great, low cost, simple, good breakfast and lunch place for the weekday diners. I work just around the corner, and we have our own cafeteria (blech), it is worth walking the block in the rain to get Bob’s over my building’s try at lunch. Their breakfast is good and cheap (and greasy), and the sandwich and burger selections are quite tasty for lunch. Choice of sides (soup or tossed salad upgrade is $0.50) include fries, pasta salad, and the aforementioned soup or salad. I try to get the special when it is even remotely interesting to me; I have yet to be disappointed. The soups are scratch made on site, and vary often; the soups are sometimes ‘different’, but always hit the spot. Another good place for the lunchtime downtown on a budget crowd.

Good food downtown. Food was delicious (I had veggie wrap, my friend a California wrap) at a really reasonable price for downtown restaurant. I want to try their breakfast next. Service was a little slow but I will blame that on the fact their credit card machine was down at the time. All the staff was awesome and really friendly.

I stopped into Bob’s on Friday and tried their Chicken Fajita soup. I have to tell you it was awesome. I would love to get the recipe if I could. Would definitely reccomend it to all.

Catfish Po’ Boy. I had this without the buffalo sauce — it was really good!

Food at Bob’s Grill is always a tasty treat, good for everyday of the work week! The soups are such savory creations. The prices are also right, that I don’t mind treating my friends. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Near the courthouse…Some may know that place too well.. Breakfast at Bob’s gets the job done, if you just need something to keep your hangover to a minimum. The lunch menu is much better, offering items like the buffalo wrap, chicken caesar salad, and standard burger. Located on the east side of the courthouse, you can grab a bite after stopping to pay all of those parking tickets you got. The soup is almost always worthy a try. I recommend subbing the soup for the other side dishes when you order. There is a rotating cast of characters working there, but the food is consistently good.
