This is one of my all-time favorite places. In the summer, you will find me sitting on the patio enjoying some fresh bread and coffee. The service was good, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the food of course, is delicious.
Today I went for lunch at this place that use to my favorite place in downtown because I am European -American and I enjoyed the European vibe. Not after what happened here today. The waitress broke my $270 pair of sunglasses taking the menu off the table. She asked the manager to talk to me and apart of being very rude to me, he called me names like crazy and nuts. He is the GM – Mr. Darech Gaskill. I had a witness at my table that can confirm that I was only polite asking him how can he make this right. I would like to ask Mr. Darech Gaskill: Did you treat me that poor and without professionalism just because, or this is the way you know how to run your business?
So on a whim I decided to get my hair cut while I was in Omaha. I was asking about restaurants and this one was recommended as a place I could go sit and relax for lunch. It was amazing. The waiter was helpful with my wine selection, the hummus platter was a perfect lunch (also a suggestion from Laura at Curb Appeal). Small, cozy, intimate, and great food. A definite must in Omaha.
