High Altitude Dining. This is one of Omaha’s most beautiful restaurants, helped along by the fact it is 22 floors up in the older First National Bank Tower. It is a private club, BUT anyone may dine here for lunch, and anyone may dine here for dinner if you go to the web site and print off the information that will get you in the door. The food is American, and on my visits in the past it has always been good. You will pay a dollar or so more for your drinks and menu items..the spectacular view does come with that surcharge. But it is fun to dine here, as they have a lot of old memorabilia on Omaha politicians, media moguls and civic leaders, including the club’s signature cartoon caricatures of dozens of movers and shakers in town.
