Such a warm and fun atmosphere! Our food was phenomenal. We had the potato crusted calamari appetizer, gulf shrimp en brochette for dinner, and the banana foster bread pudding for dessert – everything was literally AMAZING! We will be recommending this restaurant to everyone!

Omaha is a hard place to find fresh seafood. Well duh, that would be because we live in the land of the beef. Here at Plank there seafood is flown in daily and it shows. Wife and I went here for our one year wedding anniversary. Wow! Everything here that we had was fantastic! I started with a half a dozen oysters. Three of the madhouse oysters and three of the blue point oysters. Both good. The madhouse oysters were the best. Very fresh tasting with kind of a fresh melon taste. Also had the peal and eat shrimp. Very fresh and big. Also had the cheese curds. Awesome! Panko breading with white cheddar cheese. Yum! I had for a main dish the albacore sliders and fries with house made katchup. Great. Onions, tomatos cheddar cheese, very thick cut bacon, tuna and a lemon aoli on a very tasty bun. I will dream about having this again. Wife had salmon carbonara. Very good. Not to rich. For dessert we had the banana foster bread pudding. To die for! Don’t even like bread pudding. This tasted like French toast with banana goodness. I had the brown sugar ice cream. Very good! The service was outstanding! Very attentive. In all, can’t wait to go back.

Our party of four was seated promptly without a reservation at dinner time. We had a selection of oysters on the half shell, and clam strips as appetizers. Both were good, oysters fresh and plump, but the clam strips were outstanding. Entrees were grilled and fried. The fishes were very good, with average portion size, but the broccolini was tough, and the distribution of the vegetables on the plates was random (You got way more green stuff than I did.)Still, we would go back.
