Went because they have NFL games . Decent wings; great staff at a place that doesn’t pretend to me something that it isn’t. If you want upscale food this isn’t the place but we enjoyed watching the games here.

Going for the tie…. OK, I have some personal bias, having visited this bar & grill since it started up a few years ago; but I think I can give a balanced picture. So, to be fair, I will start with the things that are wrong (or at least, not right) with the Stadium Club. The food is adequate; not bad, not great, but passable for a sports bar. No points. Very often, staples from the menu are not in stock, so a higher percentage of food on the menu is 86’d in comparison to a ‘chain’ sports pub. Negative points. Unless it is a big game day, most often music, not the game, will be played on the sound; ok for a chain, unacceptable for a locally owned place. Negative points. There is very little in the way of consistency in the staff; your experience at Stadium Club will vary from visit to visit depending on who is behind the bar and who is in the kitchen. Negative points. Inadequate bathroom space and maintenance when the place is busy; call me a prude, but the gents need a door for their throne, too. Negative points.OK, the good news: This can be (during the big games, and on Sundays) one of the liveliest, friendliest bars in the Old Market. The good bartenders are not just good, they’re great! A dozen big screen TV’s to watch your favorite game, during a college football Saturday they will have somewhere in the neighborhood of four to eight games visible at a time. Some folks might not agree with this one, but I am biased: they will only play sound for one game at a time; so instead of a confusing cacaphony of competing sounds, you just get the one (hopefully important to you) game, which really binds the crowd together. The best summation for any Nebraska Cornhusker fans out there would be this: Visiting the Stadium Club is like going to a Nebraska home game while the team was coached by Bill Callahan; you really have a chance to have a great time, but you know the experience could be improved.

For some reason u never get what you order – let me explain. I have eaten here on three different ocassions and on three different occassions I have been served something so far off from what I ordered I think is done on purpose. For example I once ordered a burger and got some chicken dish not even in a bun. Will not be playing games at this stadium any longer.
