This caf is the true American diner experience. Great food, reasonable prices. We had breakfast and the hashbrowns were crispy, and well done, the eggs were just as I ordered, not over or under done, and the chicken fried steak was perfect (both crispy, yet tender). Hubby shared his perfectly cooked bacon which were huge. Coffee was smooth, not bitter. Didn’t have room for pie, but we definitely will be returning, so maybe next time.
I stopped in for breakfast this morning on my way out of town. As others have said, this is your standard great American diner – Formica counters, basic furniture; nothing fancy. If you are looking for a diner, this is what it should look like.Service was quick and friendly right from the moment I arrived. The menu is standard eggs and bacon type options for breakfast. The food was fresh and hot and quick out of the kitchen. My omelette was a little on the small side for most diner standards but I find many places overfeed you, and I did not leave hungry. The hash browns were old school style, which I like.Overall the value was reasonable – $12 tip in for breakfast and coffee. I would eat here again if I was in the area.
