I’m not one given to dining at chain restaurants, but after driving past the Olive Garden several times, and always seeing a full parking lot, I decided to give it a try for dinner. I’m happy I did. The large dining rooms were packed on a Tuesday night. The room was a bit noisy, but isn’t that what Italian dining is all about…eating with family and friends?Service was excellent. I was offered free samples of any wine I was interested in ordering. Nice! Prices are very reasonable, considering all dinners feature unlimited soup or salad, plus breadsticks.The menu is huge, and features seasonal offerings. There is something for every mood and taste. And everything tastes fresh made.My pasta pescatore was very good, and a nice sized portion. Likewise I enjoyed not one but two bowls of soup. Wines are offered in both 6 and 9 ounce servings, or by the bottle.I enjoyed my visit, and will return.
