Had a #16 Korean BBQ Bandh Mi. sandwich with an added fried egg. It had BBQ beef, kim chee, spicy mayo, cilantro, jalapenos, pickled daikon and pickled carrots on a baguette. It was a flavor bomb and I loved it. At most places I have to add multiple sauces and seasonings to my sandwich to get it to this level. I would not change a thing on this sandwich. I had a strawberry bubble tea smoothie towash down the sandwich. It was very good, but at over $4, a little bit pricy. For dessert I had a cheese cake bite and a Vietnamese green waffle. The cheese cake bite was justthat, a nice small bite size piece of nice creamy cheese cake. I wish more places did this so you could try multiple desserts atone visit.Lastly, the green waffle was light, warm, covered in alight coating of powdered sugar and delicious. It was the perfect end to my meal. I can not wait to come back and try more of their sandwiches. It is located in a small strip mall and has limited seating inside.
Great Vietnamese sandwich place! The sandwiches are always fresh and taste great! I would suggest also getting a Bubble tea. It’s a smaller cafe so you can also call ahead and pick up your order.
Call me a sinner, because I lust over the Banh Mi offered in this tiny cafe. I met my dining companion for lunch here yesterday, and ordered the vegetarian banhwich. The taste of this nugget of goodness has led to my refusal to branch out too much over their menu, as it is a food item that haunts my dreams. The veggies are pickled, and the acidic taste of the vinegar pairs nicely with the fresh cilantro and tofu. I ALWAYS add the egg to my Banh Mi, as it would be silly not to. The flavors on the banhwich are solidly crave-able on their own, but try dipping it in the Thai cilantro sauce and it’s positively orgasmic. I had a side of Kim-chi, fermented to stinky perfection. The food in this joint is consistently delicious, and I would have given it a 5 star (block?) rating if the seating options and ambiance were a little more thoughtful. There is an unused bar in the back, and the table inside offers few options when the place is busy. The bubble tea is made with fresh ingredients, but I have never been a huge fan of blobs of tapioca in my drink. I would encourage everyone to try adding the egg to whatever you order, as it adds to the explosion of goodness in every bite. I would like more options for side items to accompany the Banh Mi as they only have squid salad or chips. The price of the fare is very reasonable, and I’ll be back soon to indulge.
Wholly cow this place is amazing! We had the beef banh mi as a lettuce wrap and one as a normal sandwich and both were delicious. I literally ate every piece of food that dropped into my tray. We also got a strawberry and a matcha bubble tea and both were delicious. Dare I say there might have been actual strawberries in the strawberry one? Then at the advice of somebody we ran into we got a waffle and it was divine. My only request is that you build one in Omaha 🙂
The best Banh Mi in the Omaha/Lincoln area. It’s cheap eating at it’s finest – they offered a dozen or so variations of the banh mi, from the classic to roast pork, and Chinese meatball. You have the options of creating your own or adding things to their already set menu like – a fried egg, in addition to the banh mi they have squid salad and bubble teas, we ordered 4 sandwiches, 2 bubble teas, two sodas, an appetizer and their waffle for around $30. Perfect for those wanting more than just a sandwich on a budget,
We had the spicy thai cilantro chicken banhwich and mango bubble tea. The food was unique and very good and super reasonable. We will definitely be back.
Went for the first time today. was a little unsure when i walked in because of the smell. it smelled like the garbage needed to be taken out – so Im not sure if thats the case or if thats just how the place smells. Otherwise it looked very clean and modern.i went on in anyways and am glad i did. I had the #3 grilled pork sandwich. It was just as I expected (in a good way). Good crusty bread, the braised pork, some pickled daikon, carrot, and cucumber. They put the jalapeo slices on the side so it wasn’t too spicy. Great taste/flavor, right amount of veggies to meat, and the meat was tender.I’ll go again and try other sandwiches and apparently their bubble teas are really good too I’ll try them next time.Try it out, and if the place smells grab the food and go or sit outside….it’s cheap and fast.
