I just love this place. I have been going to the original one for many years and am elated they opened one downtown where I am frequently at. This was my first visit to this location and was not disappointed. I have a double Fireside Burger, an order or their freedom fries and one of their absolutely delicious chocolate shakes. The burger was done perfectly. It had a nice crust on the outside and was juicy on the inside. It had jalopena-bacon crumbles, srircha ketchup,cumin lime mayo, pepper jack cheese and romaine lettuce on it. It was not your mother’s hamburger. It was a giant juicy flavor bomb. The fries were great and the malt topped my meal off perfectly. This location, while not extremely large, is considerably larger then the original place, plus when the weather turns nice, they have a nice outdoor seating area. This place has my vote for the best burger in Lincoln. I highly recommend it.

The floor in front of the kitchen is a bit slippery too. But I’ll return. These guys are pros and I’m expecting better in my next visit. The owners are pros and they’ll raise the bar.
