Best Vietnamese in Lincoln. Not the best I've ever had though. Meatball phi or BBQ pork bun are my standards. Good bubble tea, try the red bean or tar…

Following the reviews here…. I found a little cafe called ‘Vung Tau’ across from Golden Wok (or some other Chinese restaurant). The place is small, but very neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and excited about their food. At a first glance, the menu disappointed by the prevalence of chicken/pork dishes. I decided on a bubble tea and a chicken dish with noodles. Under the name of ‘bubble tea’ came a frozen margarita-ish mix with flavourings. Granted, there were some tapioca pearls at the bottom, but they were half-frozen and it took them 30 minutes to thaw completely. The dish contained a grilled chicken on top of white noodles. The noodles were semi-cool, sticky, and not very appealing. I’ve encountered much better noodles at other Asian places, ones that I actually ordered extra to take home. My companion got the same chicken, with a slightly different topping and rice. Rice wasn’t appealing either. The chicken was very dry and soaked in sauce with apparently a high salt content. The red sauce the server brought for the noodles&rice did make the case for the side-dishes better. The server was very nice, quick, and friendly. It seems as if he really believes that they have good food. I like the interior, the people, and I would like to praise their food. I simply can’t. It’s not good Asian food, at least not to my taste. I wish these nice people good business, but they absolutely have to change their food to get that.
Deliciousness. This is my favorite restaurant in Lincoln or Omaha. Being from Omaha I don’t get to go as often as I would like but when I do I love every bite. When they open a location in Omaha I will be happy as one could be.
Simply delicious. I have been going here for at least 5 years now and let me tell you, you will never be disappointed. Today i went here with my aunt for lunch, i had the Com Thit Nuong Bi Cha (Grilled pork special) and she had the regular com thit nuong with honey dew bubble tea. It was amazing, total bill was $22 and i still think the price of bubble tea is expensive at $3.75( same at every vietnamese restaurant). The food is amazing and is as authentic as it gets since it is family owned. Simply the best vietnamese in town period! and i have been to them all
This is by far my all time favorite restraunt. we live in bellevue but the hour drive is deff well worth it! not only is the food to die for, but the bubble tea is delicious too!
Good local restaurant. I was a bit surprised there wasn’t one vegetarian thing on the menu except the bubble tea but they were nice and made up a dish without meat. It was just plain noodles with lettuce on the bottom, scallions and mung bean sprouts. Basically it’s not the place to go for vegetarians but for meat eaters it’s good quality and tasty (according to my meat-eating friend).
Great flavor, friendly family. This is a great family run business with wonderful Vietnamese food. What they may lack in decor is well made up for in flavor and authenticity.
