Great food & service!
Like the convience of the location to my hotel when visiting Kearney. Food is plenty,fresh and hot. Really dislike country music. We’re not all necks.
Very good BBQ. One of our hometown favorites. Great BBQ and dessert menu. Always a good choice for visiting friends/family. Thanks folks. Well done.
Great Stop Along the Way. We were in route from Fort Collins to Chicago, Kearney was our stop. Hungry, but not sure what we wanted to eat. Skeeter Barnes was a short hop from our motel, so we thought we would give it a try. Woo Hoo! Pulled pork was as good as we make at home. Ribs literally pulled off the bone. Sauce had a nice nip. Service friendly and helpful from local college kids. Actually did have them save leftovers, put them in the cooler, and enjoyed them the next night. Recommend? You betcha!!
Decent. Skeeter Barnes is a decent BBQ joint. Stay away from the Ribs, they suck. Everything else is pretty damn good. The pulled pork ranks amogst the best. The homemade BBQ sauce is great too. Good staf and a cool bar coupled with cold, cold beer makes this a decent place to eat and hang out.
