Great downtown location! Within walking distance to lots of little stores, salons and other bars. Good selection of wine by the bottle, however, you can only get the house wine by the glass. The menu had a wide variety of mid-western type dishes, along with a soup/salad bar you could add to your meal. A great place to stop if you’re looking for a non-chain restaurant that’s in a great downtown Kearney location!
Alley Hose.. When we ate there it seem that they served the food on wet plates. The bread for my hot beef was water logged as if someone took it to the alley and hosed it down. Top layer of the sandwich was ok. My co-pilot said the burger and been hosed as well. I think dry plates would be a better idea but I dont run restaurants and i might be wrong.
Very over rated!
Wonderful place to eat!. The Alley rose is an excellent place to go out and eat. The food is incredible, so is there salad bar. The waiters always provide such good service. On the weekends someone is usually playing the piano. They have really good prices too. Alley Rose is one of the best places to eat in kearney, if you want fine dining that is. A+!

Spent $80.00 for an inedible meal. This was hands down the very worst dining experience that I have had in years. The server was rude, the food was bland (and cold) and the medium rare steak was cooked until it was boot leather. When I didn’t eat my meal and didn’t request a box, the server didn’t even ask if everything was alright. A complete waste of an evening.
Great Place. The Alley Rose is a great restaraunt with great atmospehere and good food. It’s a little pricey but worth the money in my mind. The food is cooked perfectly to order and some great beer choices on tap. One of my favorite bars in the Kearney area easily.
