They are located in a little areacalled Pacific crossings andits by a an Italianrestaurant in the middle of west Omaha. It’s not in a communitythatis the same culture. It’s bringing in adifferent culture to an areaof Omaha. I walked in and thought that it was going to be traditional Mexican food. The decorations don’t make it feel like a Mexican restaurant. Butwhen I was sitting there I realized it is a Baja Mexican cuisine restaurant. Ifyou didn’t know Bajacuisine is from a part of Mexico that is located by theboarderof Mexico and California. As I was waiting to be seated I got to see how they make their tortilla shells. I like that you can see the process. When we were seated they brought chips and salsa which I thought was very good. The service is a little slow for how many people there are in the restaurant but they are very welcoming and friendly towards the customers. I ordered the shredded beef taquitos that is servedonshredded lettucewithshredded cheese andhomemade guacamole on top. This was a very good choice. I loved that theyare made with their homemade corn tortilla shells along with homemade guacamole.I believe both of my parents ordered the tostada. Which they both my parentssaid they were very good, they just wish it wasn’tas dry as it was. But they really did enjoy their dinner. Ithink that the restaurant istrying to bring in a different culture into a part of Omaha that lacks it andeach dinner shows a different part ofthe Mexican Baja Cuisineculture. As we were finishing up we got our bill and I didn’t think that it was that bad for three people. But I will definitely be going back there again. It was really good food andhad a greatatmosphere.
