Don't order delivery unless you don't want to eat for two-three hours . They are so rude when you call about the order they lie that the manager isn't…

New favorite!. This place is a trifecta of awesome… the food is great, the portions are huge AND it’s dirt cheap. We tried JJ China on a whim a couple of months ago, and we’ve been back almost every week since! This is really saying something since my husband hates to eat out (I’m lucky if I can con him into a restaurant dinner once a month) but he is obsessed with this place and keeps suggesting we do takeout. I tend to only like 1 or 2 things from a Chinese restaurant (I’m a mixed veggies or broccoli beef kinda gal) but so far I have tried 5 or 6 different things and LOVED them all. The portions are ENORMOUS. For less than $6, I get a full meal and have enough for lunch the next day. If you don’t at least hit the drive through, you are truly missing out.
Worst Chinese I have ever had. I worked in a Chinese restaurant for many years, and I eat Chinese food at least once a week, We stopped by last night 6/30/14 around 9:50 PM, Went through the drive through, We order 3 dishes, one of which was Mongolian Beef, The two dished were ok, Hunan Chicken and Combination lo Mien. The Mongolian beef was by far the worst I have ever had. The onion was 10 to 1 to the beef. It was more like beef flavoured sauted onions. I called them this morning, and I was told that is the way they cook the Mongolian beef, They said if you want more beef and less onions you have to request it, and if you don’t like the food don’t come back. I would not recommend this place to anyone, very unprofessional bad food
Great Food. Regular visitor, never a bad experience. The spicy items on the menu come quite hot, so tell them to tone it down if you don’t want your lips to burn. Not the cheapest, but it’s obvious they use better than average quality ingredients so it’s a great value. Nice little place.
Used to be our spot. Stumbled upon this place earlier this year and we’ve drove out of our way across town to get them many times a week for lunch or dinner sometimes both. After todays experience, I will no longer be going there. I ordered my usual meal to go, she read back my order and its always been spot on. It came out promptly and I drove back to work. Upon opening it, I knew right away something was off. The color was allot darker, and the meat looked very odd. I took a bite and spit it out. It was a overcooked dried out breaded mess. I dont know what it was but was not meant to be used as food. That should of been thrown out, and recooked. I was so upset, but unable to drive all the way back across town to get it remade, nor call them as it does little good to call and try and explain what has happened as i dont even know what it was they gave me. Needless to say I threw it out and rather than waste my time and another 45 plus mins of my day I will cut my losses. We will no longer be driving out of our way to support this local business and will have better luck with buying frozen meals from our grocery store…
Yum. I swear by China 1 off 108th and Maple. but i work on 148th and L! You see my dilemia! JJ China is 2nd best in my book! The Crab Rangoons, are amazing! Shrimp Chow Mei Fun, superb and i got a lot of shrimp! love it love it! Will be eating here again! 😀
Sometimes I wonder if the owners of these restaurants post positive reviews of their own restaurants. A lot of good reviews of this place led me to give it a try. The food was your average cheap chinese. The service was your average dumpster fire. This is the type of chinese food that is prepped and served from a steam table. Unless you order something ‘unique’ it should take 10 minutes max to get your food. I waited almost an hour for mine (1 sweet & sour chicken, 1 cashew chicken and a side of crab rangoon). I called in ahead of time for carryout, placed my order, they took my name and I left the house 10 minutes later. When I arrived, I told them my name, they confirmed my order and I paid. About a half hour later I asked the kid taking orders to check on mine. He nodded he would. About 15 minutes later another customer pointed out to me there was a bag of food near the cash register that had been there since he had arrived 20 minutes ago. Sure enough, it was my order. I then asked for my money back, which they did immediately. I then asked for my food. The kid seemed surprised and had to ask his manager. After some back and forth in chinese, he gave me my order. The food was okay, might have been better if it wasn’t cold. Beware the service though – total chaos both in front and in the kitchen. I’m willing to try it again, but not during the dinner rush.
