I’m surprised by how many people who I mention this sandwich shop to, know exactly what I am referring to. This sandwich shop is very good. The bread is always perfect. I enjoy the friendly staff and clean dining room as well. Near 108th and Q this is a nice place to grab a perfect sandwich.
YUM!. So I had never eaten at a Little King until today and I am sure glad I gave it a try. I was really craving a chicken Philly and I didn’t want to spend tons of money at Charley’s, so I thought I would try Little King. Let me tell you, yum it is tasty! The only thing that weirded me out, is usually when u get a Philly they use raw meat and grill it in front of you with the green pepper and onions, well theirs is pre grilled and then nuked in the microwave when you order it. As weird as it was watching the woman microwave my chicken, peppers and onion, it still turned out tasting wonderful! I think one of the things that really helped is the fresh, soft bread they put it on. I did get lettuce on top, so it was a little messy, but totally worth it. AND I haven’t even mentioned how friendly the staff was! You never find people working fast food who genuinely act like they want to be there and care about the customer. All three or four of the women working today were beyond helpful and friendly and that right there makes me want to go back!

Ok. This is a shame. This is by far the best tasting meat of a hotdog in Omaha. I’m partial to Nathan’s and still have yet to find a better quality dog. At Little King, however, the preparation kills this hotdog. The hotdog was haphazardly nuked in a microwave and placed on the same bread they use for their subs. Unfortunately this one sucks. The quality if the bread is great, yet it doesn’t pair well with a hotdog. Pass this hotdog by.
