This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Omaha. The food and service are fantastic and the owners are kind hearted brothers. My favorite dish is ginger chicken and at lunch time all entrees are served with a spring roll and vegetable ball which are very delicious! They have a modernity beautiful ambience which makes it perfect for any occasion. It’s a great place to share a delicious meal and have conversation.
I was surprised what a nice dining area this place has. You’re sort of expecting some typical strip mall kind of place and it’s actually a nice sit down restaurant. Dining room is pretty small and that can create an awkward situation on busy nights when you walk in expecting to grab a table and find they’re all full and you’re standing in the middle of the dining room being stared at by customers. They don’t really have much of a waiting area. Food is very good. I was lame and just ordered the Pad Thai, but it was very good and decently portioned.Service is friendly and mostly attentive, but it’s a small family run restaurant, so there tends to be just a few employees floating between every position in the restaurant.Restaurant is clean and well-maintained.
Gustatory. Understated strip mall location. Comfy plain interior. Good menu, good food, good service. The original owner moved back to Thailand and left the restaurant in the good hands of two of his sons.
Excellent food. The menu is very similar to most other Thai restaurants in the city, but they certainly do an exceptional job at preparing the food. The service was lacking, especially since it was a Saturday evening at dinner time and they only had one server. But overall we had a great experience because the delicious food made up for it!
Something’s Changed…. This is not the restaurant I remember frequenting when I lived in West Omaha several years ago. It was standard to be greeted by the ever-charming owner, Charlie, and treated to delicious dishes in a relaxed setting. On a recent visit, however, there were only two people working to seat, wait on, clear tables, & take care of checks for a full restaurant. They worked their tails off but it was stressful to watch as more people kept coming through the doors. The food came out surprisingly quickly but there was barely time for a greeting by the server, let alone a chance to see if our meals were ok. They were mediocre and not what we had come to love. I sincerely hope this was just an off night, because it’s hard to see how they’ll make it with the stiff competition in Omaha when service, ambience/charm, and quality food are lacking.
This was our first experience with Thai food and we were very pleased. We had an Order of spring rolls which were crispy and delicious with the spicy sauce. Hubby had the Bangkok chicken and I had the southern chicken , both with a heat level of 7. I might switch to 5 next time! Very good service and priced well.
Best Thai food in town! We love their variety of food, and the flavor and spice is just awesome!
