Ate here for lunch on a Saturday in August. They have a discounted lunch menu but you can also order off of the dinner menu. This isn’t immediately obvious because they don’t mention it, but a couple of people in my party wanted curries and there are no Thai Curries on their lunch menu but an entire section dedicated to them on their dinner menuWe ordered the Fresh Spring Rolls and Thai Crispy Spring Rolls for an appetizer. Most of the entres were served with a crispy spring roll, so it seemed rather redundant to order them as an appetizer. Both types of rolls were very good.I ordered Chicken Pad Thai. Their food can be spiced on a level of 0 to 10. I got mine as a 5 and it was perfectly fine. The Pad Thai was very tasty and I would order it again. My wife ordered their Bangkok Chicken (Pahd Pead Gai) and loved it . Though, I will say it is the exact same dish as their Red Curry (Gaeng Paed) but with onions added.Service was okay. Honestly, it felt like a couple of teenage girls that are waiting tables in their parents’ restaurant and never got any guidance or training on how to do so. So, they just sort of fumble through it. It’s almost amusing. The dining room is set up oddly. Most restaurants place the dining room in front of the kitchen. Thai Kitchen places it beside the kitchen. This creates a long narrow dining room which makes sliding tables together and whatnot an even bigger challenge. Let’s just say that if there’s going to be more than 3 or 4 people in your dining party then you may seriously want to consider getting your food to go.Overall, some of the better Thai food in Omaha, but at West Omaha prices. Give it a try if you’re near Lakeside/Legacy.
Thai Sausage was delicious. Very small place but cozy and delicious. They have a very large menu which makes it difficult to choose (or just requires us to return multiple times to taste everything!). One of the few places that actually makes spicy when you request it.
My favorite spot in omaha.. Best Thai food hands down.
Great food a service.. My daughter and I had lunch at the Thai Kitchen. Our food was excellent and our server friendly and timely. Not sure what reviewer Ana was talking about. Great experience. Prices were very reasonable too.
This restaurant is amazing, best Thai in Omaha in my opinion. There is nothing especially good or bad about the staff, and the hours are kind of weird, but the food is amazing
Awesome place to eat.. My fiance and I eat here every so often. We’ve always had amazing service and amazing food. They are very friendly and happy here, makes you want to come back over and over. We don’t branch out too far, usually just get the crispy spring rolls and the pad thai, which both are very amazing. Everything I’ve tried here is awesome. The spice level depends on whose cooking usually a 5-7 is good on the pad thai. Very awesome!
Took my wife for her first Thai food experience… The staff was friendly, patient and helpful– and the food was terrific!
