Great. Best hot wings in town
Good and getting better. I work near The Mill so I go there 2-3 times per month. The food is always good and often times it’s great. Occasionally I will receive something that is slightly over or under cooked, but it happens less and less. Overall I have been extremely pleased by the food there, and the prices are more than reasonable. The drinks are good as well, and the beer is nice and cold. The service has been good overall, except for one visit. I went for lunch and they were busy and way under-staffed. I sat at the bar so I manged to get fair service (my order was taken in a reasonable amount of time, my food came out hot, but there was no hope of ever getting a refill or an extra napkin). Many others waited a long time before they were greeted by a server and able to get drinks or order a meal.Now if it is busy and they look short on staff, I just go somewhere else.
Average, at best. We went to The Mill Saturday night and it was average. We started out with the char buffed hot wings. They had decent heat for medium, and the wings were meaty. My husband thought they were the best he has had, I can think of others I like better, so we were divided on this one. I ordered The Mill burger, and it was average. There was nothing special about it, and if anything it lacked flavor. The hamburger must be cooked without any seasoning, because the only flavor was from the barbecue sauce. My husband ordered the prime rib burger I think it was? It had a quarter pound hamburger with some sliced prime rib and a fried egg. The egg was fried over hard, and the meats had zero flavor. They accidentally left off the horseradish sauce, so the waitress brought some out, but the sauce was pretty flavorless too and didn’t add much to the burger. The parmesan chips that my husband got on the side were just ok, and the fries I got were half over cooked. The prices were decent enough, I would have been more disappointed if we had paid more. One child ordered a cup of chili and didn’t eat more than one bite because it tasted sour to her. We confirmed this…not sure if they used picked jalapeos, or what, but it definitely had a vinegar/sour flavor neither one of us could figure out. It did not taste like chili. One child ordered the chicken tenders and he loved them. And one child ordered the guacamole burger and she also loved her burger. But since there is not a specific kid menu, I didn’t get a feel that kids were welcome or wanted at the place. We did see other kids there though. I don’t think we will go back since it lacks a kid menu and the food wasn’t impressive.
Good food and the atmosphere was good but the wait staff was awful. Waited 30 minutes to take the order and rarely came by to check on us. Was willing to spend money but not when that slow and terrible. Will think twice about stopping here in the future.
Restaurant Impossible intervention needed. Decent food but the worst and slowest service ever! Watched multiple tables get up and leave when they were not helped!
Decent food, good drinks, both reasonably priced. Was not impressed whatsoever with the service. Sat at a table with friends, the place wasn’t overly busy and it took 20 minutes and reminding our server about our drinks to finally get them. Doubt I’ll go out of my way to go back there, plenty of other bars in that general area.
