Santa’s Favorite Omaha location. Santa and Mrs. Claus are regulars at Vidlak’s. We both love the food and the service. When we walk in the door we are treated exactly the same as every one else is…like family. Sunday breakfast, weekday lunch, doesn’t matter when you enter, you are treated well. But if you like home style quality you will love this place. From the Steak and Eggs or Steak and Stack (the highest priced item on the breakfast menu, under $10), which includes a great NY Strip steak (cooked as ordered) with eggs, potato pancakes (or hash browns) and choice of toast to Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs with crispy breading, awesome gravy, eggs the way you ordered them, and all the breakfast trimmings. For lunch if you like a good burger, theirs are delicious. Nothing to complain about no matter what time you show up….unless they are closed.
