This is one of those Mexican food places you go to after you stumble out of the bar at 2am (when your taste buds are dull). At 7pm on a Friday I pulled up to the drive thru and nobody greeted me. I pulled up to the window. Nobody greeted me. I finally went inside to order my food. None of the meat or chicken is seasoned and I don’t think the staff even know what is supposed to be on the menu items because nothing I order was complete according to the menu description. The churros were also very stale. Outside of a breakfast burrito don’t expect to be impressed.
Abelardo’s is the truth. Arizona burritos all day with a side of steak breakfast burrito please. Seriously super good cheap fast Mexican food available all day and night. Who doesn’t love that?! Also they are super nice I always have good service even at 2am which is when I usually go! Don’t forget ya ice cold bottle of Mexican coke!
Not the same…. I ate here last week. Tried the Carne Asada and the Chile rellanos. These tend to be amazing at the 90 th street branch, but were very average here. In fact, I was bothered by the Chiles tasting like they had been sitting in the freezer for weeks. Wait staff if friendly, helpful and efficient. Seating is better than other branches. However, was turned off by the food.
