Dragon House is without equal in the Omaha area for Korean food. It is the most authentic food I have had since I was in Korea. The classic side dishes that accompany the meal are fresh and satisfying. Everything I have tried has taken me back to Seoul. This place is a culinary trip across the sea and a definite must try. If you like spice, try the spicy seafood soup. They will accommodate a palate that likes a little less heat, too. The staff is very pleasant and will try to accommodate your needs. If you are unsure of what to order, you can be sure of a tasty suggestion or two.
I have been here multiple times strictly for Korean food. What keeps me coming back here over other Korean places (Korea King, Korean Grill) are the Dragon Wings. Crispy wings smothered in a spicy sauce. They are by far my favorite wings I have ever had. The dishes themselves are comparable to other I’ve had in Omaha. But darn those wings.
I’m strictly the Korean food at this restaurant. It was enjoyable but not the best in town. Not quite the depth of flavor at places like Korean Grill or Wong’s Hunan Garden. But if you’re in the mood for Korean and Dragon House is closer to you, it’s still a good choice.
Not good. Errors abound. I ordered two rolls, only got one. I said no avocado, and it came with it. My friend ordered a roll without spicy sauce, came out with spicy sauce.
Sushi lover. I have had some of the best sushi ever several times in my life but I ordered sushi (Hawaiian roll) from Dragon House, not only could the server explain to me to difference between their Rainbow roll and their Hawaiian roll, regardless, it was the worst sushi I have ever eaten. The shrimp looked like it had be drying out all morning, the salmon was smoked salmon and the tuna tasted weird… I will never return…
Disgusting. Food had too much sauce and was soggy. I ordered Teriyaki Chicken but the chicken was slivered into miniature pieces that would have taken forever to consume. Luckily I didn’t need to finish it since it was not very good. Our server stepped outside for a smoke. She didn’t check our drinks throughout the entire evening. We will not be returning.
Yum. Sure maybe their chinese food is good…its better than their neighbors. But if you really want to try something authentic and not american based (which is most of the chinese food in america) then try their korean dishes. They are in fact korean and it is more healthy and tasty. If you are a beginner and dont like wierd things tell them and they will pick for you. Everytime have a craving for ANY asian food i go to dragon house…they have sushi too! I love this place!
