Vegan pupusas!!Because these treats are made fresh to order I was able to confirm I could get a vegan bean or squash Pupusas. I have never had one before, what a delight!While I went on Thursday and ordered 2 bean pupusas without the cheese and 2 squash pupusas without the cheese and 1 bean and squash pupusas it came to $8.77 with tax, so quite a bit more than what I had expected. While I was the only one ordering it took quite a while to receive my to go order. I was also sad that the flour tortillas are made with lard so they are not suitable for vegans.The reviewers are correct, the very kind server who took my order spoke almost no English. No problem-I had typed out my questions and order and used google translate and printed and brought it. With the help of a cook to answer one question, there was little problem in getting my vegan safe meal.The restaurant is on what appears to be a revitalizing street. The restaurant itself is clean and bright with both light and cheerful colors. There is plenty of seating. I was asked if I wanted hot or mild sauce and opted for hot and it was hot and tasty. The squash pupusas are probably my favorite. Must go to for local vegans!
