  Best Buffet in Carson City for a bargain Price!. The Rum Jungle Buffet is really the only buffet in Carson City, not counting the cheap little Chinese only buffets. It is located in the biggest casino in Carson, the Casino Fandango. Dinner prices are a killer bargain at $10.99 on Wed, Thurs and Sun. Even cheaper if you are 55 years or older, just $9.59! for a full on buffet! The lines may be a bit long if you arrive at the opening at 4:30pm on the cheap nights. Friday and Sat nights it’s around $20 per person, so you can see the real hit are the cheap nights, as the change in food for Fri and Sat. are not that much to reflect the big increase in price.The food quality here is actually quite good. There are a good selection of salads and entrees ranging from fried seafoods and clams, Mexican food, Chinese food and American foods. The Smoked BBQ Pork Ribs, here at the Rim Jungle Buffet inside the Casino Fandango are some of the best ribs I’ve tasted at any buffet. Sure they might not be a good as my fave BBQ joint, but for a buffet and all you can eat, they are mighty fine. I like them without the BBQ sauce as they have a nice rub applied before cooking. Nice and meaty, all best of all, all you want! Well worth the price of $11.99 for the entire buffet! Sometimes that’s all I eat, along with desserts of course! The Chinese food here is the weakest of all the selections. I do like they have a meat carving section with usually roast beef, and turkey and maybe some pork roast. Service here is fine, they take the plates away and bring all your included drinks (non alcoholic). If you are looking for a Nevada style buffet in Carson City, this is a great choice especially for the price. Lunch buffets are also offered for the same mid week prices and even include breakfast foods like eggs and bacon and hashbrowns.
